Biography

Fanis Karampasoglou is the co-owner of Diversity Diving Center, with a deep passion for both the underwater world and teaching. His journey into diving began at the age of 18 when he was first introduced to scuba diving through his archaeology studies. This fascination led him to pursue a Master’s degree (MSc) in the Protection, Conservation, and Restoration of Cultural Monuments at the Faculty of Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Throughout his career, Fanis has participated in various scientific diving projects, including underwater surveys and underwater excavations across Greece, while also working at numerous diving centers as a PADI professional. His commitment to excellence in scuba diving education is evident in his certification as a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, a testament to his dedication and hard work.

Fanis is not only a passionate diver but also a mentor who thrives in sharing his knowledge and love for the sea, nature, art, and culture.
